Marina Bychkova has created many wonderful porcelain sculptures or as she says porcelain doll beauties. Each one of them are graceful and mysterious, delicate and playful. Marina Bychkova herself says in her website enchanted doll that her need to work with dolls became evident as a calling when she was six years old. As a child she became painfully aware and appalled at the mediocrity and the uninspired dullness of mass-produced dolls. This profound frustration coupled with her natural sensibilities inspired her to create her own dolls, suited to her own ideas of feminine beauty.
