Incredible Paper Crafts by Jennifer Collier from Britain
Jennifer Collier is a British artist who creates stunning paper objects out of old books, magazines and news paper. With years of crafting experience, Collier bonds, waxes and traps paper materials to create a fabric. She also painstakingly stitches the paper together. Jennifer takes those old Thomas Guides, vintage postcards, children’s books and pattern packets and turns them into incredible replicas of everyday items like typewriters, cameras, clothes, and even shoes. By bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching Jennifer Collier produces unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects. Jennifer also creates dresses, shoes and other garments out of the newspaper.
