Cocoon House at UNESCO Heritage Site by Planning Korea in Korea

Cocoon House is a unique home on a UNESCO World heritage site in South Korea. Designed by Planning Korea, it’s a part of the Jeju Airest City, an integrated residential and business resort. The Cocoon house features a central cocoon around which the rest of the house is organized. The circular windows and sky lights in the house can be opened and closed to regulate the temperature. The rest of the house includes a conference room, a small atelier, a library and a private gallery. The green roof provides insulation and manages rainwater runoff and rounds off the aesthetics of the building.
